Deaf Hiker Is Miraculously Saved By A ‘White Wolf’

Amelia Milling is definitely one of the most incredible hikers that you can ever meet. Even though she is deaf, she doesn’t let this situation stop her from achieving what she wants from life.

She has had many amazing adventures and to be honest, her achievements are even making us a bit jealous.

She chose the Crow Pass Trail which is located in Alaska’s Chugach State Park for her last journey. Everything was fine in the beginning, but then a horrible thing happened. Amelia took a bad fall while she was climbing up the mountain. She was merely four miles into the hook when she slipped and collided with an extremely big boulder. She also injured her leg very badly during her fall.

Amelia realized it was impossible for her to complete the hike as she had initially planned. Moreover, she saw something like a white wolf approaching her from a distance. However, this wasn’t the case at all and Amelia felt very relieved when she realized what she thought was a wolf was actually a Husky coming to check up on her.

On his tag, it reads his name as Nanook. Thanks to Nanook’s efforts, Amelia managed to get back to the trail, and Nanook also remained by her side during the night to keep her warm.

When Amelia managed to make her way back to dry land with the help of the cute dog, she sent out an SOS to ask for help. The Alaska State Troopers immediately arrived on the scene and managed to help Amelia. Amelia then learned that Nanook has made a habit out of helping people in need. In fact, the dog gets so good at providing assistance that he has been given the title “Crow Pass Guide Dog”. They also added this title to his collar. Nanook is definitely a good boy and a modern-day hero!
