Meet Fábio Gomes Trindade, a street artist from Brazil, recognized by his afro hair murals. The artist picks empty walls with trees above them to draw portraits of women, men, or children in a way that the tree represents their hair. The artist sometimes chooses to paint portraits where the tree is absent, in hopes that it will inspire people to plant them. Fábio has gained a huge following from all over the world on Instagram due to his vivid artworks. One of his murals, Fabio dedicated to Rihanna and the resemblance is uncanny!

A pandemic isn’t something to celebrate, that’s for sure, but it seems like during the time of the pandemic, many of us discovered new and interesting things to do. The New Yorker artist went to Robert Moses State Park, where she would spend most of her time by the beach. Since she was supposed to create 12 art pieces for a 2021 calendar, she started to make sand sculptures there. Soon after, this became a new hobby for her. That’s how she started to create beautiful, symmetrical mosaics and real-life animal portraits.
