The Photos Of This Park Will Give You Goosebumps If You Don’t Like Spiders

Due to the heavy rains in the region, wolf spiders, and money spiders around Yinnar which is a rural community in central Gippsland, Victoria, Australia migrated to this nearby park using a technique called ‘ballooning’. They covered the entire park in spider webs and the photos of the result will send shivers down your spine!

UFO enthusiasts first thought the spider webs were actually a sticky and similarly textured substance called ‘angel hair’ which is believed to have a connection with UFO sightings or signs of the Virgin Mary.

The ‘Ballooning’ method is used almost only by young and small spider species as a method to stay out of risky and dangerous places and to migrate. The method allows spiders to travel anywhere from a few meters to hundreds of kilometers. However, ballooning can also be dangerous itself, since not all spiders can make it to their destination point.

Similar events happened during the past such as when spiders migrated to Australia’s Southern Tablelands in March 2012 and covered the entire area with their webs. These aren’t unique to Australia either, since people experienced similar sightings in the United States and Britain as well.
