These Humongous Animals And Objects Will Make You Feel Very Petite In Comparison

The ship was the largest at its time, but we now have many others that are way bigger than the Titanic.

Bison are the biggest mammals in North America and they are native to the United States. A male bison like the one in the photo can grow up to 6 feet tall and weigh roughly 2,000 pounds. This is only his head compared to a whole human. There are about 10,000 bison in America. They are also very fast animals that can run up to 35 miles per hour.

If you think school buses are huge, think again. This is a mining dumping truck compared to a school bus! There are several staircases, doors, and a control room in this dumping truck! Quite unbelievable!

The animal you see in this photo is a huge elephant seal named Minazo that is one of the inhabitants of Japan’s Enoshima Aquarium. It’s very popular in Japan, so much that a Japanese musician even made a concept album on it! It’s also the most famous elephant seal in the entire world.

This giant wombat looks so fluffy and cute in the arms of its owner, right? But beware as they tend to get very aggressive when they feel like they’re threatened.

NASA created this car-sized rover named Curiosity in 2011 as a part of their Mars Science Laboratory mission. The rover which cost $2.5 billion landed on Mars on August 6th, 2012. The whole aim behind the mission is to explore the climate on Mars along with learning about other things such as the role of water. Curiosity has spent 2889 days on the planet, and it’s still there. NASA is planning to launch another rover to carry different scientific devices. In this photo, you can see Curiosity next to a person.
