The Horses Of Neptune

The Horses Of Neptune

Once upon a time, Neptune, God of the Sea, was traveling his territory in his chariot drawn by nine white horses, when, passing in front of the mouth of the Rhone, he saw a farmer who was having trouble with a black bull: “Here is my best horse; if you can be friends with him, he will be an incomparable ally against the black bull. However, don’t forget this; he comes from the immensity of the sea and his owner was a god: it will be necessary, when he wants, to let him free to come and deeply breathe his marine and divine origins.” So the legend says about the Camargue Horses. This photo was taken by an Italian outdoor photographer named Davide Gianetti. In his research for the perfect shot, he is devoted to emphasizing the significance of the undertaken path, trying to communicate the genuine sense of the journey and the mesmerizing relationship between humans and nature through his photographs.

Spanish Beauty

Spanish Beauty

The photographer of this gorgeous photo took this using only one studio light in a dressage area. We also need to admit this is the most beautiful Spanish stallion we’ve ever seen.

Aging Gracefully

Aging Gracefully

This dog you see in this picture is named KAB. It’s hard to believe but this sweet boy is actually 15 years old! The photographer really did a good job trying to capture the beauty of a senior dog.

Childhood Days

Childhood Days

Because of COVID, the world has come to a standstill, but not the emotions of nature. These beautiful chicks reminded me of my own childhood while I was trying to capture their photos. I would just sit there the entire day watching them and capture those incredible moments as they unfold. At first, they were shy and just peeking through their mom’s feathers. They spend their whole day around their mom and sleep under her belly while cuddling her. Cute and loving moments while learning the art of preening, joyful moments in the water with siblings, necessary lessons on food, and shivering in strain. Childhood is the best when you have your mom around to take care of everything.

Silent Hills

Silent Hills

Just looking at this photo makes you feel calm and peaceful thanks to those snow-covered hills and cotton candy-colored sky, don’t you agree? This photo was taken in Switzerland, by the way.

Little Red Hunter

Little Red Hunter

Apparently, you can both hunt and have fun at the same time! Sounds kind of cruel, but that’s the law of nature.

The Starlit Grand Tetons

The Starlit Grand Tetons

If this picture is not jaw-dropping, we don’t know what is! These incredibly beautiful mountains you see are the mountains of the Grand Tetons National Park in Wyoming, USA. This photo was captured during the Perseids meteor shower, with only one meteor streaking down the sky, flashing in colors that resemble the colors of the core of the Milky Way.

Camera Shy

Finn was a bit camera shy during his photoshoot so we came to an agreement. This photograph was taken by Belinda Richards, an internationally award-winning pet photographer based in Melbourne, Australia. Belinda is the founder of Frog Dog Studios as well, and it’s dedicated to capturing the human-like expressions from her client’s pets.

Great White

Terrifying yet absolutely beautiful, the Great White opens its jaws to catch its prey at Guadalupe Island. The photographer’s biggest dream was to capture an image like this and to raise awareness that we have to think of how our consumerist behaviors are destroying the oceans- how could we do better?

Roaring Storm

Roaring Storm

A picture of a storm cell moving towards the Island in the Florida Keys. I am a landscape photographer and I am coming from the Republic of Moldova. After I got my bachelor’s degree in psychology, I started to work in the human resources department for a financial company. During that time, I also started to take photos inspired by the beauty surrounding nature could offer to us; that activity was an amazing way to escape my daily routine. When I came to Key West, my photography journey became more interesting, since I was surrounded by the ocean, and water became mostly present in my works as the subject, usually combined with elements of human activity.

Emperor Penguins

Emperor Penguins

I was truly lying flat on the ground while I was trying to capture this picture. I did this because when we go lower than their height, they feel much more comfortable around us, and because of that, this particular Emperor family spent a lot of time beside me and I was lucky enough to take some amazing photos of them. On this particular trip, I had walked roughly 8 hours every day in search of a perfect frame. My name is Thomas Vijayan, I am actually an architect hailing from Kerala, India which’s also called God’s Own Country. I was raised in Bangalore and I am now living in Canada with my family. I have traveled all the continents in the world for photography, which is my biggest hobby but not profession. The big felines have always been my favorite subject for photography. I don’t believe “perfection” exists in photography, every click to me is an experience, the more I click the more I learn something new. I value quality more than clicking pictures in quantity.

Peaceful

Autumn In The Alaska’s Arctic Circle

Autumn In The Alaska’s Arctic Circle

Gates of the Arctic National Park and Preserve in Alaska is the most secluded national park in the U.S., and it has no roads. It remains almost completely unchanged apart from the forces of nature. These photos are part of my journey into the Arctic Circle, discovering this stunning and pristine American National Park- one that will soon be opened up for industrial mining. This is a goodbye to this mind-blowing place.

An amazing picture of Mt. Bromo, East Java, Indonesia.

Desert Portraits

Desert Portraits

I’ve been taking photographs of the deserts of the UAE for more than 5 years and in this time a lot of the locations I’ve visited have drastically changed. A lot of the trees and shrubs that once stood have their roots exposed to the sun or are buried by the constantly changing windswept desert landscape. Intolerable summer heat mixed with nearly freezing evening temperatures in the winter months, the consistent sandblasting strips the bark off the majority of young trees. These desert photographs offer a brief look in time of plant species fighting for survival in one of the world’s harshest environments. The photographer, Anthony incorporates a minimalistic approach within his photography and this directness shifts our perspective so the imagery is less about actual location and more about emotional state. In his works, he uses negative space and an elegant aesthetic to provide the viewer with a sense of calmness and peace, sharing the emotions of the moments he captures. His editing style also offers pastel expressionism to emphasize the calming effect even more, offering the viewer the opportunity to escape into the purest essence of seclusion.
