Winter Magic in Real Life

The greatest passion in Heiko Gerlicher's life is taking forest photographs. He considers that the forest is filled with endless creative opportunities.

Given that, it may not seem surprising that his latest project is also about forests.

His latest project goes by the name "Hoar Frost." In this project, Heiko Gerlicher showcases snowcapped trees to become shining stars, as their icy leaves create spectacular patterns.

Therefore, each picture captures a different and distinct winter moment. Gerlicher's goal in the Hoar Frost project is to show the beauty and fragility of the trees and forests with his pictures and to stimulate the urge to go out into the woods.

When you examine it meticulously, you will realize just what fertile ground the forest provides for the imagination.
