We all love seeing cute animals or knowing about their stories. They are quite heart-melting and they can brighten your day in an instant.
Today, we’re going to introduce you to yet another cute and fluffy animal that most people don’t really know about, Ezo Momonga.
When you look at these photos Ezo Momonga look almost like cartoon characters, but they are actually living, breathing squirrels. Sadly, you can’t really come across them in your everyday life.
If you want to see these animals up close, you need to take a trip to the Japanese island, Hokkaido, as this is the only place these adorable squirrels can be found.
Even if you visit Hokkaido, the squirrels are very shy animals by nature and it can be really hard to get a good picture of them. Yet still, thanks to some photographers, we have some adorable and amazing photos of these fluffballs. Ezo Momonga are also known as the Japanese dwarf flying squirrels and they can fly while moving from tree to tree, hence the name. They are also nocturnal animals.
If you absolutely lose your mind over how cute these animals are just like we do, we have some good news for you. Since they’re very tiny, these animals don’t have any natural predators and they are not in any way endangered.
