What Happens When You Let Go of a Balloon?
Despite being the smartest creatures of the planet, humans are the most polluting, consumerist species in the world. Their one-time usage of many things gives damage to the entire planet and livings. As though the plastic waste doesn’t cause enough trouble, there’s also a sub-category named balloon waste.
Balloons sound like harmless but many people satisfy their desires with them and release them into the atmosphere which later results in injuring dolphins, birds or turtles as the ingestion of a balloon can create serious health problems leading to death.
Colorful balloons appear as food to the animals. Some of them just get tangled on the trees, fall into seas or forests. Even those balloons labeled as biodegradable will fall down to Earth as insoluble matter. Also, they use Helium which is a finite resource.
