This Mobile Cabin Built by Alaskan Explorer Looks Fantastic On 1996 Ford F-350

The idea of a mobile cabin in a car might be strange, but it is a good one. Tim Johnson, an Alaskan pioneer built this small log cabin in the back of a car of a 1996 Ford F-350, and it cost him $26.000 including the truck.

Tim states that he wanted the comfort and mobility of a bigger log cabin, so he ended up adding a stove, 2 couches, a television, and a toilet to his house.

At first, he had a Toyota, but he invested $13.000 to get his ford truck to build the house.

His father was a carpenter, so he was lucky to learn woodworking skills while he was growing up.

After three months of work, he finally built his dream cabin, and he did all the work by himself.

Now he is independent and able to travel wherever he wants with his home on wheels.
