This Man’s Unusual Friendship With A Momma Bear Will Warm Your Heart And Put A Smile On Your Face

Most people think bears are scary animals because of their strength and their size, but you can also say they can be quite adorable at times. In the video we’re going to show you here today, we see a man who has had a black bear come and visit him for years bring her cute cubs to meet him. It’s truly a heartwarming moment.

In this region of America, black bears are very commonly found and they are very comfortable around humans as well. In Asheville, North Carolina, there’s a big population of bears, and their numbers are getting higher and higher each day, so in turn, they have come to live with people, it seems. This bear family started to visit this man named Patrick Conley regularly, starting from the end of summer of 2017, so much that they even became a part of his family!

In the video below, we see the bear Patrick calls Simone come out of the woods to say hi. This is an ordinary thing for Patrick, however, what she was bringing was a big surprise even for him! Because right behind Simone was her first litter of adorable cubs!

Patrick was absolutely stunned when he saw the cubs and even wrote in the video’s description that they were the most adorable things ever to walk these woods, but he is biased. Simone has become family to Patrick, so seeing these cubs is like almost welcoming new babies to his family.

Simone isn’t anxious at all when she walks right onto the porch with her cubs closely following her. What makes it even more obvious that Simone is very comfortable with Patrick and thinks of humans as friends is the fact that she walks onto Patrick’s porch. The cubs are a little bit shy since they’ve never been here before, but they trust their mother. In the end, all three bears are on Patrick’s porch saying hi, and Patrick is just utterly in shock. It’s incredible to see what is usually an animal that doesn’t interact with humans be so friendly. They spend some time on the porch and then leave and walk across the street to climb a tree for a bit.

The cubs are getting used to their environment and having fun exploring it. Both of the adorable babies run to the nearest tree to climb and play with each other, but the mother bear stays very close to them. After they explore their surroundings a bit, play, and climb trees, Simone tells her babies that it’s time to return back home. You see three bears heading back to the forest to go home.

Patrick states that Simone is looking well-fed, and keeping in mind how close they got to him, they will probably be back soon, which he looks forward to.

Simone’s mother (and the grandmother of the cute cubs), a bear named Maite, has three bears: her strong son Maurice, shy Solange, and Simone, who is now a mother herself.

Now Patrick has to find names for the cute cubs as well. What a stunning encounter with nature that got caught on camera!
