Plastic Sea Discovered Around Island of Caribbean

While the photographs shared by the travelers from the regions they visit mostly reflect the magnificent beaches, sunny skies, coastline and such aesthetic beauties, in this series we will share with you what people who cross the road from those beautiful seas and oceans turn these places into and the hidden face of those beauties.

Caroline Power is a photographer. On her trip to an island in Honduras, she noticed there was 5 mile-long plastic waste over the ocean. What she witnessed was human beings’ irresponsible nature’s serious results. She published the images she captured to uncover the hidden reality of consumerist humans. After they got what they want from vacation or a visit, they left plastic bags, packages of food and many other waste behind themselves.

It seems that there is much progress to be made to stop harming wildlife and living creatures and adapt a sustainable lifestyle.
