Abandoned Dog Finally Finds The Home He Deserves

Duke is a good boy with bad fortune. Since his last owner couldn’t afford to take care of him anymore, he was left in a park with his favorite toy and a note nearby.

A woman named Stephanie found the abandoned dog out in the freezing cold weather and he was standing there with his toy some food and a crate.

Stephanie first searched for the dog’s owner and looked in every direction. When she realized no one was coming for the poor dog, she contacted the police as she was unsure about how to approach Duke. It seemed like Duke was having a hard time trusting humans, and Stephanie already had her own dogs with her at that time. She posted a photo of the dog on Facebook in a final attempt to find his owner, but no one responded so the animal control was called to come and take the dog. Duke was placed in Baltimore Animal Rescue & Care Shelter.

It took some time for Duke to approach and trust humans again, but he managed to do that. Pet owners that abandon their pets are actually breaking the law since it’s against the law. Duke was lucky, though, since the United States Army specialist Wallace White came along and changed his life.

Wallace didn’t know about the dog’s story, but he was determined to make him a part of his family. This story ends well for Duke as he finds a loving home.
