Italian artist Giuliano Mauri is known for his design in natural architecture. The Tree Cathedral, or Cattedrale Vegetale as it is known, is perhaps the most beautiful of its kind. To realize his design, Mauri planted two Tree Gardens. The cathedral has 42 columns, forming a basilica for five islands.

Shinkansen bullet train is quite popular in Japan. It is also suggested as one of the top activities if you visit Japan. Naohiro Yako, photographer, took a train ride from Kyoto to Nara and spent approximately 20 hours in the old capitals. This tour is called as “dangan tour” or in other words “bullet tour”. The term means a rapid trip to a previously unvisited place and have all the fun in a short while.

These tree bridges in India were planted by the locals to perform exactly this function.

Madeira is an island known for it dramatic scenery. Mountains, beaches and volcanoes are hidden in there but most of all, the ancient forest has been alive for 500 years with a landscape coming out of a fairy tale.

In the early 1880s, three people combined their forces to increase the level of lumber activities in Mendocino County, California. In 1885, they established the Fort Bragg Railroad to trade and transport timber easier. Later on, this institution led the way for the foundation of California Western Railroad, generally known as The Skunk. The nickname of The Skunk was given in 1925 when motorcars were released.

The Northern Lights, or so-called aurora borealis got captured by a photographer named Hallgrimur P Helgason, aged 64, in the shape of a phoenix which is a fascinating and huge bird known from ancient myths.
