The Ship SS City of Adelaide has become the mother nature after her tempestuous lady years

Astralian off shores is lately home to a new island which was once a brisk ship used for passengers first, and then for cargo purposes, afterwards as a breakwater, and finally a tranquil dwelling for mangrove trees. This extraordinary vehicle had also experienced critical accidents and fires.

She had sailed almost about fifty years before being gently invaded by these picturesque inhabitants.


Although it is a new phenomenon, having a history of not more than 20 years, it has gained a rightful reputation not only around Cockle Bay, Magnetic Island, the area where she sank, but also the remote parts of the world through these enchanting photos and interesting history not usually come across in marine realms.
