In A Single Day, Colombian Soils Have Been Crowned with 200.000 Trees

Colombians aimed to plant about 180 million trees to their lands for reforestation. Their plan will be extended over a four-year period. They started with a small amount such as 200.000 that they planted in 24 hours, which does not sound that small.

Thanks to the collaborative work between the society and the ecological, territorial and domestic authorities of Antioquia, Colombians succeeded to plant 200,000 trees within the department through the Bosques de Vida seedlings. This is just a start for their National Development Plan Pact but it’s a quite good start. They’ve managed to plant within 25 municipalities with participation of around 500 people.
